Ari Zeldin, M.D., FAAP, FAAN

is the board-certified Pediatric Neurologist at the Achievable Health Center, and was one of the primary visionaries and founding Chief Medical Officers of the Health Center, leading it’s planning and development. Dr. Zeldin is also a Physician at Westside Regional Center. Dr. Zeldin completed medical school and pediatrics residency at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. Dr. Zeldin then served as Medical Services Supervisor at North Los Angeles County Regional Center and was a consulting physician at Harbor Regional Center. These experiences sparked his passion for working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and inspired him to complete a pediatric neurology fellowship at UCSD. Dr. Zeldin then pursued a post-doctoral fellowship in autism and related disabilities at UCSD/Rady Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Zeldin serves as Assistant Professor, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and his primary academic position currently is as head of the Division of Pediatric Neurology, Navy Medical Center San Diego. Dr. Zeldin cares for children with intellectual/developmental disabilities and neurological conditions. He is actively involved in a number of grant-funded projects, advocacy and policy issues and speaks to community groups about neurodevelopmental disabilities. Dr. Zeldin is fluent in Spanish. In his spare time, Dr. Zeldin enjoys playing soccer and taking long walks on the beach.
